Winter trees in summer

Winter tree in summer

Thanks to the gyspy moth caterpiller and the dark clouds. the last part of this evening had a winter feel to it. However the warm air was felt across my bare arms not a heavy winter coat. Right now, it's getting dark out and the fireworks are starting to be heard.

North Korea did do their missile test, so how close was the US from firing another missile to stop one theirs? I'll never know and I doubt it we'll ever find out the truth. However the "what if" did cross my mind when I was walking. Maybe that's why in those few steps, those trees reminded me of winter.

Wow! the gypsy moths really are bad up your way. This year they've been almost non-existant here (but give it another year or two). Like you, I've been trying *not* to think about nuclear winters.
