Rainy Sunday

It's a rainy sunday at work and I have a few patrons here. Actually I can't wait to go home. I'm in the mood for a cup of tea. Then with my tea, I'm going sit down and type this week worth of NaPoWriPo poems. Yes I'm still doing it, just didn't have the time or energy to type them up. Have a week left and then I'm done with the challenge. I haven't miss a day. Came close a couple times but the Muse show up and I get my poem for the day. After the month is over I'm going go through teh poems and decide who I'm going to keep.

I finished typing my Star Wars story Checkmate. Yea!!!  It was only 10 chapters, I'm waiting for my beta to send it back.  But the nice part of having it done. I'll have more time for poetry and the photos. Right now I'm taking a nice long vacation from fanfiction writing. I do enjoy writing writing. Kinda fun messing around in George Lucas world. I always thought I was making some much needed improvements ;-)

However one fanfiction writer went too far and now there's worries that we are going to lose our fun. What she did was, she had hers published (by her own publishing company) and is selling it on Amazon and B&N.com. Without George's Ok. The popular term descibleing her - stupid.here's the link It's too unreal to believe.  Most of the fanfciton writers are just plain outrage. We know what we write is sorta illegal but this been going for a long time. My understanding is George is leinant on fans on this stuff. As long we don't making any money on it. So right now, it's a wait and see what he is going to do.

Ok back to work. If there's any goofs, I'll fix them later.
