More poems for monday

Well I was going to do an entry on Sat but my internet connection went funny and sunday I couldn’t get on until late. Again I’m tired tonight. So tomorrow at lunch I’ll write something up.

April  12

An old tree
      will become fire.

As a rock, distorts
another tree nearby

One does get tired
of feeling stones with the feet.
Yet, it's a folly to walk
in the middle of the road.

Could allow the shadow,
to lead me around the block.
However, if I can't trust the me.
How can I trust my shadow?

 April  13

Tonight's rainbow
    fades back into the dusk.

No hope was spoken
It's only reflecting water
not a pure line to God.

So no words were said,
no words were misplaced.

Simple silence
          staring at silence.

 April 14

I'm clear of plain glass
and have seen into the eternity.

Like some gift that's given
wanted and unwanted. Never
can be return to the shop.

Throw me down on the street please
and sunder me into the shards.
Then time, rain and hope
            will sand down the edges.

As a truly whole person,
held together by her thoughts.
I'm condemned and not welcome.

But some sweet child, might see me
glinting from the edge of the road.
Pick me up and carry me into heaven.
